Volunteer Centre Dorset is the Data Controller providing a Volunteering Service.
The Role of Data Controller
Volunteer Centre Dorset are responsible for deciding how your personal data is processed and for what purposes. We will ensure that we and any of our sub-processors comply with data protection laws.

Personal data relates to a natural person who can be identified from the data e.g., your first name, surname, and email address. We will process your personal data in accordance with the relevant data protection legislation the Data Protection Act 2018 Plus Amendments.

To contact you regarding the service(s) you have enquired about or requested.
To contact you to request feedback if you have agreed to this.
To contact you to let you know if any of the terms of the service are changing.
We will use anonymised data to create reports about the Volunteering Service.
How is my information stored?
Data is stored or processed on servers based in the UK/EU and will not be processed and/or transferred to any country outside the EEA or to any International Organisation without your prior written consent.
Who can access my information?
When you supply your personal information in order to be referred to a service, you are giving your consent for Volunteer Centre Dorset to process your personal data in accordance with data protection laws and for us to share your personal data with the organisations providing the service(s).
Other system administrators at Volunteer Centre Dorset may also process your personal data for administrative purposes. Otherwise, your information will never be passed on to a third party without your permission unless we, the Volunteer Centre Dorset are legally obliged to do so.
