Member of Independent Monitoring Board for IMB Portland

There are two prisons on the Isle of Portland: HMP Portland is a category 3 prison housing 550 adult men; HMP The Verne has around 600 places for men convicted of sexual offences. Like all other prisons, each has an Independent Monitoring Board (IMB) - a group of ordinary members of the public doing an unusual job.

Both boards are currently seeking to recruit more members. If you are looking for an interesting and challenging role, which may sometimes be outside your comfort zone, then this could be for you!
