We want to celebrate volunteering!

We are now accepting nominations for volunteers to be recognised at this years' Volunteer Celebration Evening.
This is will take place on Thursday 22nd September in Dorchester.

There are five categories:

Young Volunteer of the Year
Nominate an amazing young person (aged under 25) for their volunteering contribution.
Nominate a Young Volunteer

Volunteer of the Year
Nominate a volunteer from your organisation or someone you know who is deserving of this recognition!
Nominate a Volunteer of the Year

Team / Group of the Year
Do you know a team, group or organisation who does amazing voluntary work?
Nominate a Team/Group

Employee Volunteering
Recognise an employer who supports their employees to volunteer.
Nominate an Employee

Community Action Group
This is a new category to recognise community support provided during the Covid pandemic.
Nominate a Community Action Group

If you would like to make a nomination for one of the categories above, please complete the relevant form (link below each category) by 22nd August 2022. Spaces are limited, so please get your nominations in as soon as possible.

We are keen to hear about people and groups who have not previously been nominated, especially young volunteers. Please ensure forms are completed in full with the correct contact details for the nominee. All nominees will be contacted by Volunteer Centre Dorset prior to the event.

Please contact us if your organisation would like to attend the Celebration Evening to support your nominee. Due to the popularity of this event, we may need to limit the number of guests attending from each organisation.
