Gillingham Foodbank don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
They are looking for an enthusiastic social media volunteer to help increase their profile within the local community. They have lots of ideas for this but unfortunately have very little skill on Facebook and Instagram. They would love to expand onto Tiktok but need help. If you have the skill, commitment and want to support your local community in hardship they would love to hear from you.
