Chair of Weymouth RNLI's Lifeboat Management Group

Share

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. They provide, on call, a 24 hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the UK and Ireland, and a seasonal lifeguard service. With their lifeboats, lifeguards, safety messages and flood rescue they are committed to saving more lives.

They are seeking an experienced leader to chair Weymouth RNLI's Lifeboat Management Group. This is a rewarding opportunity to use your leadership, communication and networking skills, along with your local community connections, to support volunteer teams, strengthen collaboration across the station and help deliver the RNLI's lifesaving mission. This is a flexible role, with variable monthly time requirements.

Weymouth is one of our busiest lifeboat stations on England’s south coast. It operates two lifeboats – Ernest and Mabel, a Severn class all-weather lifeboat, and Jack & Phyl Cleare, a B class Atlantic 85.

Whether your experience comes from business, education, healthcare, local government, the military, emergency services or another leadership role, they'd love to hear from you.
