Visitor Welcome Volunteer at Shire Hall Museum

Share

Shire Hall Museum is a social justice museum based in Dorchester. Housed in the town’s historic courthouse, it brings to life over two hundred years of real stories about justice, injustice, and the people who shaped the law. As an independent charity, they aim to inspire reflection, conversation, and change through immersive exhibitions, education, and community engagement.

They are looking for Visitor Welcome Volunteers. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and engaging experience -  greeting visitors, giving information, and assisting with audio guides, tickets, and shop sales. By helping visitors feel informed, supported, and inspired, Visitor Welcome Volunteers are key to sharing Shire Hall’s stories of justice and injustice and supporting the museum’s mission as an accessible, inclusive space for all.
