We have recently completed a review and restructure to ensure we meet the needs of our customers at the same time growing our capabilities and services, especially to those in Dorset’s communities who may need additional support. The review has meant changes and how we deliver our services.
We need trustees to support and take forward these changes and oversee the implementation of these changes. We need someone who can help the organisation develop its business plan to ensure its continued success.
What's in it for the volunteer?
You will work with staff, volunteers, and existing trustees to make sure everyone gets the best from Volunteer Centre Dorset. You will be part of a dynamic team who thrive on making a difference and feel part of a great team.
VCD is seen as an infrastructure organisation, this means we are the "hub in the community", we are the central point of contact for groups, individuals, councils, private sector, job centres and everyone else looking for information on volunteering. You will learn about the sector in its broadest sense.
Your input will help VCD continue to be the recognised centre of excellence in Dorset.
