Watchkeepers for the National Coastwatch Institution

Share

Watchkeepers are needed to undertake 4 hour shifts, normally alongside one other Watchkeeper, at St Albans Head National Coastwatch Station, essentially scanning 5 miles out to sea to identify any vessels in difficulty and work in conjunction with H.M. Coastguard to resolve any issues, either at sea or on the South West Coast path. Full training is given in what is a rewarding, enjoyable role for attentive, conscientious volunteers.
