Volunteer Centre Dorset - Volunteer Celebration Evening 2026

Share

16th July 2026

We want to celebrate volunteering!

Please help us by making a nomination’s for individuals and groups making a difference across the Dorset council area!

If you would like to make a nomination, please complete the relevant form (link below each category) by Sunday 16 August 2026. Spaces are limited, so please get your nominations in as soon as possible!

Due to the high volume of nominations received last year we will prioritise groups and individuals who haven’t had the chance to be recognised at the Celebration Evening before. Please also note that if the same organisation is nominated across multiple categories, we may ask the organisation to choose one nomination to take to the Celebration Evening to allow as many organisations as possible the chance to celebrate their volunteers, we may also need to limit the number of guests attending from each organisation.

Please ensure forms are completed in full with the correct contact details for the nominee. All nominees invited to attend on the evening will be contacted by Volunteer Centre Dorset prior to the event.

If you have any further questions or queries regarding the event please do not hesitate to contact Volunteer Centre Dorset on 01305 269214 or email [email protected].

New for 2026 – Volunteering for All
We're delighted to introduce a brand new category at this year's Volunteer Celebration Evening – Volunteering for All. This category celebrates voluntary, community or charitable organisations that go the extra mile to remove barriers and create meaningful opportunities for people who may otherwise struggle to volunteer – whether due to age, disability, poor mental health, social isolation, caring responsibilities, a criminal record, or other life circumstances.
