11th September 2019

The Big 4 Littlemoor will be providing you with a lunch – please let us know if you have any food allergies. (Gill Paterson at [email protected]) We will also provide you with some water, and transport to the toilet if needed as unfortunately there is none on site.

You will need to wear suitable boots / shoes and bring along gloves if you have them along with your own spade or trowel  (again if you have one – we will be able to supply a few).  We have 3 sacks of Daffodil bulbs to plant to form a Daffodil bank at the Legacy Project site. The bulbs will need to be planted in groups of 3 or 5 and with a great gang of volunteers we should have the job completed in time to enjoy a more relaxing lunch back at the Littlemoor Community Centre.

We will be ready and waiting for you on site from 9.30am. Big 4 Littlemoor will be able to show you what their plans are for the dedication of the area which will take place on Friday 25th October.

Where to meet? This is the most difficult bit to explain – if you are driving you will need to park in Nightingale drive – we suggest you park there for the morning, which is off from the old Littlemoor road.  The area where we will be meeting is as shown on the map with a blue star so you will need to walk up the gentle hill to the entrance and then walk over to the far corner and you will see us there. It is the area marked as Jurassic roundabout – I know some of you may know where this is but others may not and it is not by the stones on stick – but just opposite this roundabout.
