We are reviewing physical health services for children and young people provided in the community - Have your say!

4th April 2018

NHS Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group is responsible for planning and securing health services in Dorset. We are reviewing physical health services for children and young people provided in the community.
This includes primary and community care as well as community hospital services for 0-25 year olds.

We want to:

  • provide care closer to home

  • identify problems at an earlier stage and provide help sooner

  • ensure that vulnerable children and young people are able to access all services

  • have a clear system of support that is understood by children, young people and their families

The first stage is to find out what is being done well and what could be done better.

We have developed a survey for young people aged 16-25 and parents/carers of children and young people aged 0-25.
In addition we would value feedback from other local stakeholders with an interest in the provision of health services for children/young people.

At the end of the survey you will see how you can get involved in the next stage – working together to design future services.

We will also be seeking the views of under 16 year olds in a variety of ways including at schools and youth forums
