Free everyday first aid sessions

These free sessions are available for any volunteer groups that support the over 65’s or volunteers who support the homeless and substance use can learn first aid for free.

Everyday First Aid is easy to learn, easy to remember and easy to recall

British Red Cross research says that people over the age of 65 are at a higher risk of trips and falls as well as heart attacks or strokes. By learning a few simple skills we can help equip people with the knowledge, support and confidence to help someone in an emergency.
Simple first aid action can make a crucial difference! The British Red Cross are committed to refusing to ignoring people in crisis and want you to learn simple Everyday first aid skills that could make a difference to a family member, friend or the communities you support.
The Everyday first aid approach provides a flexible, adaptable, engaging, fun and interactive way to learn first aid. Sessions are tailored to the groups needs, making the sessions relevant and easier for people to remember.
