Christmas 2023

Christmas is a busy time of year. There are a wealth of activities taking place across Dorset, which people can either attend or help out at as a volunteer.

To make finding details easier, we are sharing a list here of both events taking place and volunteer opportunities over the festive period.

No need to book.  Just rock up with your broken items for repair by our volunteers. We don’t charge, we just ask for a donation.  Check out those Christmas lights and singing Santas.  We fix electronics, electrical, IT, mechanical, clocks, gluing and ceramics, tool sharpening, sewing and leather.  Don’t bin it - fix it!

We will be opening on Christmas Day 1000-1600hrs. Mince pies, hot drinks, and festive banter will be the theme of the day. Also, for those who would like to have a Christmas dinner, then from 1300hrs on the day you will be welcome to join us for a home cooked festive feast. It will be a first come, first served basis, and it won't cost you a thing, although a donation is always welcome.
