It’s back! Small Charity Week will be taking place on 18th-23rd June this year with six themed days of activity.
Our message for 2018 is: “Small Charity Week begins today! Share to show support for the UK’s vital small charities: I Love Small Charities!”
Alongside a range of partners, the FSI will be organising a number of events and initiatives to support and raise awareness of the valuable Small Charity Sector (any charitable organisation with a turnover under £1.5 million).
We have just launched the Small Charity Week Thunderclap which will be released on I Love Small Charities Day. The aim is to raise awareness of the UK Small Charity Sector making a difference across the world.
Help us make sure the Thunderclap takes place so small charities are trending on social media by signing up to release our Thunderclap message on Twitter, Facebook or both!
We have six days of themed activities and events taking place during the week crammed full of initiatives to support your small charity. Don’t miss out on:
- The FSI’s Fundraising Conference
- Big Advice Day offering tailored support on any charity topic
- Fundraising competitions and toolkits
- A roundtable specifically for international small charities
Are you getting your supporters ready to help you win cash prizes?
On I Love Small Charities Day of Small Charity Week three competitions will be launched to help your charity raise its profile with current and new supporters and win up to £450 in cash prizes.
To be in a chance of winning, all you need to do is:
Ask your supporters to take a photo of themselves holding up a poster that reads:
“I love (your charity’s name) because (why they love your charity)”.
Then they simply post it to either Twitter, Instagram or the Small Charity Week Facebook page, including the #ILoveSmallCharities hashtag.
The charities with the most individual messages of support on each platform will each win a cash prize for their cause.
This week is for you, so put the date into your diary today and start to think about how you might be able to make the most of the week for your charity.
